Overview
Finding something to do in Quebec normally means opening ten sites: box offices only show their own shows, municipal calendars their own city, tourist sites their members. Sorti·Ka inverts the problem: one dedicated connector per source visits each calendar, normalizes every event to a single schema, deduplicates across sources and detects changes continuously — with hourly resync.
After the 2026-08-25 connector wave, the platform tracks 22,900+ active events from 61 active sources across 332 cities in all 17 administrative regions, including thousands of free events. Sources span box offices (evenko, Ticketpro, Eventbrite…), official open data (SIT Québec, Montreal CKAN), venues and broadcasters (Place des Arts, La Vitrine), and regional portals — with every abandoned source documented with evidence in the registry.
Sorti·Ka is not a box office: it is a faithful index. Cross-source dedup fingerprints title + city + date so one concert published by three sources becomes one card (the richest listing wins). A municipal repertory of 1,250 cities resolves homonyms by population and attaches every event to its region. SSR with JSON-LD Event markup covers SEO, and 69 pytest tests run on real recorded fixtures with zero network.
