Overview
Resto·Ka aggregates Quebec's restaurants across all 17 administrative regions: every resto, every dish, every price — searchable by restaurant or by dish. Prices are real, unmarked takeout prices captured on the restaurants' own ordering platforms, not on delivery apps (which inflate 25–30%). A price is never shown without its context (dine-in / takeout / delivery), and a menu without a price context is rejected at ingestion.
As of 2026-08-24: 14,716 active restaurants (OpenStreetMap discovery, 17/17 regions), 149,569 priced dishes, 1,682 captured menus, 180 identified chains including 116 discovered UEAT integrations, 2,994 MAPAQ inspections imported, 1,859 liquor licences (RACJ), 155,312 price-history entries, 80% of items with photos and 100% of restaurants geolocated.
Dish search groups results by brand so a chain's poutine doesn't repeat dozens of times; options and size supplements are captured because they change the real price; and menu protection rules ensure a dine-in menu is never overwritten by a delivery menu. Official enrichments (MAPAQ inspections, liquor permits) and review crossings (Yelp, Uber Eats) round out each listing.

Drift protection
Abnormal drops in a source's volume or a menu's item count suspend removals and keep the previous menu.
