Overview
Rent·Ka continuously aggregates rental listings published by Canadian property managers, REITs and national portals — Ontario first, national expansion in progress. Every listing keeps its photos, price, availability and a direct link to the original ad. It launched 2026-08-27 with roughly 9,000 published listings across eight provinces.
Forked from Lou·Ka, it organizes 81 connectors into three families. Platform generators (53) cover LiftSystem/Rentsync, RentCafe, Buildium and AppFolio — one JSON client registry per platform, so adding a property manager anywhere in Canada means appending a single client row with its province. National landlords (12) bring whole portfolios: Boardwalk, CAPREIT, Minto, Morguard, Killam and more. National portals (5) — Rentals.ca, Zumper, Kijiji, Apartments.com, Facebook Marketplace — cover major metros in every province.
Canada-wide enrichment kept from Lou·Ka: KA Scores (walk/transit/bike/quiet/services from OSM), fair rental value, building passports, listing history, re-listed-unit detection, a Winter Score, photo audits and manager profiles. Everything Quebec-only was removed, and a central French-to-English label funnel keeps the database uniformly English — Quebec's “n½” unit notation converts automatically.
