House·Ka continuously aggregates homes publicly listed by Canadian real-estate brokerages and teams whose sites run the RealtyPress WordPress plugin on the CREA DDF feed. Each such site exposes its board's full inventory; a single generic connector covers them all, and cross-site duplicates are masked by DDF number. Launched 2026-08-27 with 200,000+ Ontario listings, expanding province by province.
The platform was forked from Immo·Ka, keeping the proven pipeline — connectors → ingestion → dedup → quality gate → API — while removing everything Quebec-specific (Hydro-Québec estimates, flood zones, rent registry, census profiles, Vrai-Prix). The publication rule is deliberately relaxed (price + city) with types and descriptions enriched over time through detail passes.
The frontend is fully English with its own pine/cream/serif identity, deliberately distinct from Immo·Ka's cherry theme, and includes a Canada-wide mortgage engine with national rates shared with Immo·Ka. Thirteen canonical property types in English (House, Condo, Townhouse, Semi-detached, Duplex… through Parking) normalize the DDF data.
