Overview
Auto·Ka is an independent used-vehicle aggregator covering the province of Quebec. Instead of opening dozens of dealership sites, one dedicated connector per business visits each site at the source, normalizes every vehicle to a single schema and detects changes continuously. Dealer sites offer no webhooks, so periodic sync plus content hashing reproduces them: arrivals, price drops and sales are detected automatically, and a vehicle that disappears returns a true 410 Gone.
As of 2026-08-24 the inventory counts 48,388 vehicles from 138 dealerships (129 active sources on a 143-source registry) across Quebec's 18 regions, with 16,969 safety recalls cross-referenced and 10,158 VIN duplicates masked. Three verticals share one engine: cars, motorcycles and scooters each get dedicated tabs through a `kind` field that traverses the whole pipeline.
Fidelity is a rule: no invented prices (a vehicle without a displayed price shows “Price on request”), polite crawling with identified User-Agent, and connector families for the major dealer-site platforms (D2C Media, SM360, AMVOQ, Convertus, HGrégoire…) — adding a dealership is a ~6-line connector subclass.
